Canceling Apple TV+ takes a couple of minutes once you know where to look, but the exact path depends on which device or account you originally used to sign up. This guide covers every method so you can stop the charge before your next billing date.
Before You Start
Cancel using the same account and device type you signed up with. If you subscribed through Apple, cancel through your Apple ID. If you subscribed through Amazon or Google Play, you'll need to cancel there instead. Your Apple TV+ access continues until the end of the current billing period, so cancel any time before the renewal date to avoid another charge.
Track your trial deadline and cancel before you get charged.
Canceling on Apple Devices
iPhone and iPad
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap your name at the top of the screen.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Select Apple TV+ from the list of active subscriptions.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
If you don't see a Cancel button, your subscription is already ending or was purchased through another provider.
Mac
- Open the App Store app.
- Click your name or the sign-in icon in the bottom-left corner.
- Click Account Settings at the top of the window.
- Scroll to Subscriptions and click Manage.
- Find Apple TV+ and click Edit, then Cancel Subscription.
You can also cancel from System Settings > Apple ID > Media & Purchases > Manage on newer versions of macOS.
Apple Vision Pro
- Open Settings on your Vision Pro.
- Tap your name at the top.
- Select Subscriptions.
- Tap Apple TV+, then Cancel Subscription.
Apple TV (streaming box)
- Open Settings on your Apple TV.
- Go to Users and Accounts, then choose your account.
- Select Subscriptions.
- Choose Apple TV+ and select Cancel Subscription.
Canceling on a Web Browser
Any computer or phone browser works for this method.
- Go to tv.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID.
- Click your profile icon in the top-right corner.
- Select Manage Subscription (this opens your Apple ID account page).
- Click Cancel Subscription and confirm.
You can also go straight to Apple's subscription page for a shortcut.
Canceling on Other Devices
If you signed up through a third party, Apple can't cancel it for you. Use the platform where you originally subscribed.
Amazon Prime Video Channels
- Go to amazon.com/gp/video/manageyourprimechannels.
- Find Apple TV+ under your active channels.
- Click Cancel Channel and confirm.
Google Play / Android
- Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device.
- Tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.
- Select Apple TV, then tap Cancel subscription.
You can also do this from play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions in a browser.
Windows PC (Apple TV app)
- Open the Apple TV app for Windows.
- Click your profile icon and select Manage Subscription.
- Sign in when prompted, then click Cancel Subscription.

Roku, Smart TV, or Game Console
Apple TV+ subscriptions purchased through Roku or another TV platform are billed by that platform. Cancel through your Roku account at my.roku.com under Manage Subscriptions, or through the settings on whichever device you used to subscribe.

Tips and Common Problems
No Cancel button showing? The subscription is likely billed through Amazon, Google, Roku, or your carrier. Check those accounts.
Bundled with Apple One? Canceling Apple TV+ alone isn't possible if it's part of an Apple One bundle. You'll need to either downgrade the bundle or cancel Apple One entirely.
Got Apple TV+ free with a new device? The promo auto-converts to a paid subscription after three months. Set a calendar reminder for a few days before the trial ends.
Family Sharing? Only the family organizer can cancel a shared Apple TV+ subscription. Other members will lose access when it's canceled.
Still being charged after canceling? Confirm the cancellation shows as expired under Settings > Subscriptions. If it does and you're still being billed, contact Apple Support with your receipt.
