Peacock makes cancelling fairly painless if you signed up directly, but the process changes completely if you subscribed through a third party like the App Store or Roku. This guide walks you through both paths so your subscription actually ends and you stop getting charged.
Before You Start
Figure out where you're being billed. Check your credit card or bank statement for the charge:
- NBCUniversal or Peacock TV — cancel directly at peacocktv.com
- Apple or iTunes — cancel in your iPhone/iPad settings
- Google or GOOGLE*Peacock — cancel in Google Play
- Roku — cancel in your Roku account
- Amazon — cancel in your Amazon Prime Video Channels
You can't cancel an Apple-billed subscription from the Peacock website, and vice versa. The billing source controls the cancellation.
Cancel Peacock Directly (Website)
If you signed up on peacocktv.com or through a smart TV signup that used your card, use this method.
- Go to peacocktv.com and sign in with your email and password.
- Click your profile icon in the top-right corner and choose Account.
- Select Plans from the left menu.
- Click Change or Cancel Plan.
- Choose Cancel Plan and confirm your choice on the next screen.
You'll get a confirmation email. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period, so keep watching until then.
Peacock does not offer prorated refunds for partial months. Cancel before your renewal date to avoid another charge.
Cancel Peacock on iPhone or iPad (Apple)
- Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions.
- Find Peacock in the list and tap it.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
If you don't see Peacock listed, you weren't billed through Apple. Check the website method instead.
Cancel Peacock on Google Play (Android)
- Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device.
- Tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.
- Tap Peacock, then Cancel subscription.
- Pick a reason and tap Continue to confirm.
You can also do this from a browser at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.
Cancel Peacock on Roku
- Sign in at my.roku.com or open the Roku Channel Store on your device.
- Go to Manage your subscriptions.
- Find Peacock under Active subscriptions.
- Select Cancel subscription and confirm.
You'll keep access until the end of your current billing cycle.
Cancel Peacock on Amazon (Prime Video Channels)
- Go to amazon.com/gp/video/mystuff and sign in.
- Click Prime Video Channels in your account settings.
- Find Peacock in your channel list.
- Click Cancel Channel and confirm.
Track your trial deadline and cancel before you get charged.

Common Problems and Fixes
"I don't see a cancel option on the website." You likely signed up through a third party. Check your billing source and use that provider's cancellation flow.
"I cancelled but got charged again." Confirm you cancelled through the correct billing source. A Peacock website cancellation won't stop Apple or Roku billing. Screenshot your cancellation confirmation and dispute the charge with your card issuer if needed.
"My cancellation didn't send a confirmation email." Check your spam folder. If nothing shows up within a few hours, sign back in and verify your plan status shows as cancelled or ending on a specific date.
"I got Peacock through a bundle (Xfinity, Spectrum, Instacart+)." Bundled Peacock accounts are cancelled by ending the parent service or bundle. Contact the provider that gave you the bundle.
"Can I pause instead of cancel?" Peacock doesn't offer a pause feature. You'd have to cancel and resubscribe later.
Reactivating Later
Your Peacock profile, watchlist, and viewing history stay on file even after you cancel. Sign back in with the same email whenever you want to resubscribe, and everything picks up where you left off.
